You are Rotary material.
Is Rotary good material for you?
Being a Rotarian is less about meeting Rotary’s criteria for membership, and more about meeting your own higher standards for service leadership in your community.
Can Rotary amplify the impact of your actions of community leadership? In return, can you help your fellow Rotarians be more impactful agents for good?
Rotarians are people of action. It’s what a Rotarian does that counts.
Here are some personal qualities that most Rotarians share:
· We have some measure of surplus in our family budget, and we want to share it effectively.
· We manage our own calendar and decide for ourselves how to use our time.
· We have input or control over our professional goals and expectations.
· When we speak, people listen to us. We carry influence.
· We are growth-oriented—personally, professionally and socially.
· We seek the company of others who will help us improve.
· We expect to contribute individually to successful team efforts.
· We find pleasure in our work.
· People have helped us. We return the favor by helping others.
· We believe our contributions are unique and valuable.
· We effectively use information technology to communicate clearly.
· We are proactive.
· We value people.
